Frequently Asked Questions

Holsters

Whether you're new to concealed carry or upgrading your setup, we know how important it is to get the right holster. Below are some of the most common questions we get about our holster materials, compatibility, and fit.

What material are Maxtor Tactical holsters made from?
Our holsters are crafted from rugged 0.08" Kydex — a durable thermoplastic known for its strength, impact resistance, and heat tolerance. It's built to handle real-world conditions.

What belt width works with your IWB holsters?
Our IWB (Inside the Waistband) holsters are designed to fit belts that are 1.5" wide, which is the standard for most EDC setups.

Are your holsters compatible with threaded barrels or compensators?
All Maxtor holsters have an open/tapered muzzle design that allows threaded barrels to pass through. However, compensators are not compatible with our current holster models.

Can your holsters fit suppressor-height sights?
Yes — our sight channels are elevated by 10mm, which provides clearance for most suppressor-height sights.
